RIPA (Radio Immuno Precipitation Assay) buffer is widely used as a buffer for cell lysis and protein extraction.
The RIPA Buffer (#F015A) contains Tris as the buffering agent. Protease inhibitors can be added as needed.
Available in 100 mL and 250 mL sizes.
Formulation
50 mM Tris-HCl (pH8.0), 150 mM NaCl, 1% NP-40 alterative, 0.1% SDS and 0.5% sodium deoxycholate
